Evan Pastor: EHS & FRC 1816
I was on the Bucket Brigade for three years, and I have had the honor of traveling with the team to nationals in 2009 in Atlanta after winning the Inspire Award. I love all aspects of FTC; designing, the build and programming. I have mentored an FLL team in the area and now help out the VVMS FTC teams with programming. This summer I worked for the districts media technology services and learned bout some of the broader systems in place. I have taken the computer science and engineering courses offered through the Edina Schools and can see how effective CAD tools can be to the design process.

I was on the Bucket Brigade for 3 years and was a member of the Inspire Award team that went to Atlanta in 2009. Before joining this program I had no previous experience in robotics or programming. My other interests include UMTYMP, piano, sleeping, and eating eggs. My future interests consist of but are not necessarily confined to engineering, medicine, weapons design, and ninja-ing.
Kevin Lu: EHS & FRC 1816
Kevin was a member of 2887 for two years, including the team's first trip to Nationals in 2010. He has served as a regular team mentor, especially in areas of design and testing. In addition to FRC, Kevin has participated in national math (AIME, USAJMO,) physics and chess competitions for years and is interested in pursuing engineering in the future.

Yo wasup, bro, howz ur lyfe? I was on the Bucket Brigade for 3 years and now serve as one of the team mentors. I am in UMTYMP, workin' on Calc II, (just like some of my homies,) and I enjoy basketball and break-dancing. Check me out on YouTube! In my future, I would like to be a mechanical or electrical engineer. I also enjoy eating cheese salads in my front yard and purchasing small animals in my free time.

I was on the Bucket Brigade for 3 years. Before joining this program I had no previous experience in robotics, but am now a member of FRC 1816, The Green Machine. My other interests include history, GTCYS and deep frying eggs after school. My future interests include Math and Engineering.
James Deng: EHS & FRC 1816
This is my 3rd year with FTC and I am one of the lead programmers for the team. I love math and science, and am taking my math through the University of MN which I find very rewarding. FTC gives me an opportunity to apply what I am learning. I hope to learn more about programming and CAD in the future and be able to contribute more to the team in those areas.

I really enjoyed the design process and had a chance to learn more about programming and CAD through FTC. I love math (UMTYMP) and above all, reading! I always have a book with me!
